How to Apply for a PAN Card Reprint Online
It is simple to obtain a duplicate PAN card online using the TIN-NSDL and UTIITSL websites. To apply for a PAN card reprint, simply follow these procedures.
Apply through the TIN-NSDL portal
First Step
- Open your preferred web browser and type protean-tinpan.com to access Tax Information Network – Protean’s official website (formerly NSDL).
- Navigate to Services > PAN, scroll down to Reprint of PAN Card Click Here, and then tap the Apply button under the title.
- On your screen, an online PAN application will appear. Changes or Corrections in Existing PAN Data/Reprint of PAN Card (No Changes in Existing PAN Data) from the drop-down list under Application Type, and then select the Category.

Second Step
- For your PAN card reprint application, a token number will be generated and delivered to the e-mail address you specified in the application form for future reference. Make a note of it and then click on the Continue with PAN Application Form button.
- Fill out all of the essential information on the Personal Details page and select one of the three available modes of PAN application form submission:
- Submit digitally via e-KYC & e-Sign (Paperless) – online application form submission requires Aadhaar card details and a digital signature (DSC).
- Submit scanned photos using e-Sign – online application form submission requires Aadhaar card information as well as scanned images of your portrait, signature, and other documents.
- Physically transmit application documents – You must send the printed acknowledgment form and document copies to the PAN services section, NSDL via registered mail.
