Benefits Of Gujarat Ration Card

The benefits of Gujarat Ration Card launched by the Government of Gujarat are as follows:-

To provide ration at a subsidized rate
provide free ration to all the migrants from another state
To provide Rs 1000 to below-poverty line families
Rs 1.50 of electricity duty on 50 units are charged from below poverty line families
Rs 30 to 35 crores are allotted to gaushalas and cattle ponds

Eligibility Criteria to Apply for Gujarat Ration Card

The candidate must be a permanent citizen of Gujarat
The candidate must not have an active ration card
If the old ration card is stolen or expired then only the candidate is eligible to apply for a new ration card
Newly couples can also apply for ration card
