Stalin 1000 Rs Scheme:- We have great news for the women of Tamilnadu as the CM of state Mr. M.K. Stalin has created a new initiative called Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thittam. This scheme is implemented today on the 15th of September 2023 on the Birth Anniversary of Dravidian icon C N Annadurai. The Stalin 1000 Rs Scheme aims to make the women of the state financially dependent, by offering them financial assistance of Rs. 1000 every month directly into their bank account. The announcement of  Tamil Nadu Stalin 1000 Rs Scheme will be held through the Social Media Handle of M.K.Stalin, where he mentioned that” This Scheme will be a “Historic Leap” which will inspire other states to launch a scheme which will make women. The CM also informed that they will provide information about the scheme to the beneficiaries via SMS service.

Overview of Stalin 1000 Rs Scheme 2024

The TN Stalin 1000 Rs Scheme was started especially for the women who are the heads of their families. The selected beneficiaries will get financial assistance of Rs. 1000 directly into their bank account. The government will also offer Credit Cards to beneficiaries so that they can use them for money withdrawal. The CM of Tamil Nadu has announced that there will be 1.06 crore women who will benefit from financial assistance of Rs. 1000 per month. The annual family income of candidates should be less than Rs. 2.5 lakh and not only women will get benefits but also 21-year-old Transgenders will also be eligible for the Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thittam Scheme. The state budget for this year included an amount of Rs 7,000 crore for the program, making it the government of Tamil Nadu’s highest-spending social welfare program.

Objective of Stalin 1000 Rs Scheme in Tamil

The main aim of the Stalin 1000 Rs Scheme 2024 is to empower the women of Tamil Nadu who are unmarried or widowed. Through the implementation of this scheme, women will get financial assistance of Rs. 1000 per month so that they will be self-dependent and fulfill their household expenses.  Under this Stalin 1000 Rs Scheme, 1,06,50,000 women will get financial help. The amount of assistance will be directly transferred into the bank account of the beneficiary. The goal of this scholarship is to motivate or encourage women to be empowered and self-dependent.

Eligibility Criteria for Stalin 1000 Rs Tamil Nadu

• Candidate must be a permanent resident of Tamilnadu.
•  Women should be the head of their family and would be unmarried or widows.
• Transgenders can also apply for this scheme, whose age should be more than 21 years.
• The annual income of a family should not be more than 2.5 lakh.
• The beneficiary’s family should hold 10 acres of dry land and 5 acres of wetlands.
• The women’s household electricity consumption should not be more than 36000 units.
