The mass marriage under this scheme will be conducted at the selected temples. The government originally introduced the scheme in the year 2019 but due to covid 19, this scheme was put on hold.
- The main objective of the implementation of this scheme is to prevent lower and middle-income families from falling into financial crisis. To get the benefit of this scheme beneficiaries are required to register before 30 days. The government will also provide financial assistance of Rs 55000 including 8 g gold mangalsutra. Other than that rupees 10000 for the bride and rupees 5000 for the bridegroom will also be provided
