Eligibility Criteria
- Both the applicants should belong to Hindu Buddhist Jain and Sikh religions.
- Neither of the applicants should have any spores living at the time of marriage.
- Male applicants should have completed the age of 21 years and female candidates should have completed the age of 18 years at the time of marriage.
- An applicant should not be sapindas of each other unless the customer usage government each of them permits a marriage.
- Applicants should not come within the degree of prohibited relationship.
- Both the applicants should be of sound mind capable of giving consent and fit for marriage.
- Two witnesses are mandatory at the time of marriage under Hindu Marriage Act
- But under Special Marriage Act, three witnesses are mandatory

Apply For Delhi Marriage Registration Online
- First, visit the Official Website of the E district Delhi
- The homepage will appear in front of you.
- On the homepage, click on New User if you are not registered on this portal
- The citizen registration form will appear in front of you.
- Fill all the details required such as Select Document Type Enter Document Number and Security Code
- After filling in the details click to check the checkbox
- Now click on the Continue option and complete the procedure.
- After completing the procedure now login by clicking on the Register users Login option.
- Now click on Apply For Services option
- After clicking, Now you have to search for Registration Of Marriage
- Click on the Apply option the form will appear on your screen
- Fill in all the details required such as Date of Marriage, Location, The Bride & Groom Personal Details, Witness Details, etc.
- Now upload the documents and submit the application form
- Take a printout of acknowledgment slip in which the date of appointment with the registrar is mention
- Visit the registrar office with the witness and documents on the date and time

- Now, click on Application Form for Registration of Marriage under the Hindu Marriage Act and for Registration Form for Marriage under the Special Marriage Act.
- Download the application form and fill in the details required.
- Attach all the documents and submit them to the sub-divisional magistrate.
- Your documents will be verified and the day will be fixed to communicate to the parties for the registration.
- the date will be given to you for the meeting.
