About Magel Tyala Shettale Scheme
The State Government of Maharashtra will provide a subsidy of Rs. 50,000 into the bank account of farmers to construct the ponds in their farmlands. Around 51,369 farm ponds are going to be built under this scheme. The government has allocated Rs. 204 crores for the implementation of the Magel Tyala Shettale Scheme. Along with that, this state government has also made a provision through which every farm pond will be geo-tagged to monitor to see the progress of work. The Government of the Maharashtra state has received around 2,83,620 applications to date for the building of ponds in farms. Objective Of Magel Tyala Shettale Scheme
As we all know before the launching of this scheme the farmers were not able to get enough water which is required for the farming of the land and due to this, they face many difficulties. By keeping this in mind the Government of Maharashtra has launched Magel Tyala Shettale Scheme. Under this scheme, the financial assistance of Rs. 50,000 will be provided into the bank account of eligible farmers to construct around 51,369 farms.
