Under this scheme, the government is going to provide financial assistance of Rs 1000 per month. All those girls who are enrolled in grades 6 to 12 can apply under this scheme. This scheme will be implemented by the department of Social Welfare and Women’s Empowerment. The finance minister of Tamil Nadu launched this scheme on 25th June 2022. With the implementation of this scheme, beneficiaries will be motivated to pursue higher education. The benefit amount will be directly credited into the bank account of the beneficiary through the direct benefit transfer method.
