About Telangana BC 1 Lakh Scheme 2024
The Government of Telangana has launched the Telangana BC 1 Lakh Scheme 2024. Through this scheme individuals belonging to backward classes and other backward classes who are in caste-based employment will be provided it financial aid of Rs 1 lakh. The implementation of this scheme will be done by the Ministry of BC Welfare and Civil Supplies. The beneficiaries who are working in caste-based jobs would receive financial aid to pursue the requisite machinery, hand tools, and raw materials. With the implementation of this scheme, the standard of living of the beneficiaries will be improved. Other than that the beneficiaries will also become self-dependent. Around 50000 beneficiaries have benefited through this scheme in the first stage.
Telangana BC 1 Lakh Scheme Latest Updates
The Telangana government will distribute cheques of Rupees 100000 to all of the beneficiaries who are coming from the economically weaker section of the society. Beneficiaries will be distributed the cheques from 16th August 2023. The state finance minister T Harish Rao on Tuesday, directed the officials to immediately distribute the cheques to 10,000 beneficiaries. The beneficiaries are provided the benefit of this scholarship based on the population of minorities in each Assembly segment. 130 crore rupees will be extra provided to the authorities so that the scheme can be successfully implemented. The government has already earmarked Rs 270 crore for implementing the scheme. The scholarship scheme will be, first of all, provided majorly in constituencies where the population of minorities is high. Students will be provided the benefit so that they can continue their education in the Telangana state if they are not able to do so.

Eligibility Criteria

- Those beneficiaries who have got the benefit of a similar welfare scheme will be eligible to get the benefit of this scheme

Procedure To Apply For Telangana BC 1 Lakh Scheme 2024
- First of all, you have to go to the Telangana BC 1 Lakh website.
- The homepage will appear before you
- On the home page, you are required to click on the application form for financial assistance for the BC Vocational Community registration form
- The application form will appear on your screen
- You have to fill in all the required details like personal details, and address details,s, etc into the application form
- Now you have to upload all the required documents
- After that, you have to take the cell declaration and click on the preview button
- You have to review and look at the application to avoid any mistakes
- After that, you have to click on submit
- The municipal commissioner reviews applications in municipalities and Mandal Parishad development officers will review applications at the Mandal level. The district collector will preside over the committee that makes the final district-level beneficiary selection
- After qualifying the criteria the amount of financial assistance will be transferred into the bank account of the beneficiary
