About the Telangana Lunch Box Scheme
The Government of Telangana state has launched this scheme to provide a meal such as curry and egg to pregnant women while they are visiting their hospital for regular check-ups. The main aim is to give women rice and nutritional food which helps them to grow their child and avoid the damage which is occurring to their health by not eating such nutritional food. There are various benefits of eating healthy food for pregnant ladies and their kids because these nutritional foods give women good health and a strong immune system which reduces the risk of other diseases that cause damage to the baby and to the mother.
Objective Of the Telangana Lunch Box Scheme
As we all know there are many ladies from different villages who are not able to take care of their health during pregnancy and this results in pregnant women not eating nutritional food which causes damage to their health and affects the child. By keeping this in mind the Government of Telangana has launched Telangana Lunch Box Scheme. Under this scheme, the nutritional Meal including egg and curry will be given to the pregnant women of the state. This food will give sustainable energy and a strong immune system to the women.
