About AP YSR Aarogyasri Scheme
The government of Andhra Pradesh has launched a scheme called AP YSR Aarogyasri Scheme 2023. Under this scheme, financial help will be provided to all those people who are not being able to pay the medical bill of surgeries and treatment. Through the implementation of this scheme, cashless treatment will be provided to the patient by making available aarogyasri health card. The government of Andhra Pradesh have also decided to treat coronavirus patients in government and private hospital under this scheme. Financial help of Rs 20,000 will be provided to COVID-19-positive patients and the person who is suspected to be in contact will get Rs 10,000.

Broaden Of AP YSR Aarogyasri Scheme
Under the YSR Aarogyasri Scheme, the medical expenses exceed Rs. 1000 then the cost of treatment by the Andhra Pradesh government. Now the government is thinking to expand this scheme. Previously it was only in 7 districts of Andhra Pradesh. Now the remaining districts of Andhra Pradesh will be covered in this are Srikakulam, East Godavari, Krishna, Nellore, Chittoor, and Anantapur. The government will cover 1500 more diseases under YSR aarogyasri scheme. YSR aarogyasri scheme has covered 2200 diseases till yet.
Budget For YSR Aarogyasri Scheme
The finance minister B Rajendranath Reddy has announced the budget of Rs. 2,24,789.19 in the state assembly on 16th June 2020. The major highlight will be given to the other 21 welfare schemes by the Andhra Pradesh Government in the name of late y s rajasekhara Reddy and Chief Minister YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy. Along with that fund of Rs. 11419 crore have been released for the health sector.
Revamp Of YSR Aarogyasri Scheme
The scheme was launched in the year 2017 and now the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh state has launched a new revamp Persian of YSR Aarogyasri Scheme launched by the current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Under this scheme, many new diseases will be added under the scheme for the smooth functioning of the program. The revamp of the scheme was launched on 3rd January 2020 at 10:00 a.m. for all the public.

- Additional Rs 50000 will be provided for the treatment If the amount of treatment crosses Rs 1.5 lacs
- Around Rs 2,00,000 protection for the treatment of illness will be provided to each family
- Children whose age is below 6 years can also avail protection for cochlear implant surgery along with auditory verbal therapy Rs 6.5 lakh can be reimbursed for the treatment
- Post-burn contractual surgeries are also covered under this scheme
- Treatment-related to heart liver kidney, burns, etc will be covered under this scheme
- There will be financial protection for 938 Medical and surgical treatments
- 125 follow-up treatments are also covered under this scheme

Eligibility Criteria For AP YSR Aarogyasri Scheme 2023
- The families who are filing income tax up to Rs 5,00,000 can also apply for this scheme
- If the applicants own more than one vehicle then he or she cannot apply for this health Scheme
- The applicant must have less than 35 acres of land which includes wet and dry land
- applicant must have municipal property tax-paying families for less than 3000 square feet
- The applicant can either be a private sector employee or government employee
- Outsourcing, contract, part-time employees and sanitation workers who have an annual income of Rs 5,00,000 are also eligible for the scheme

Online Application procedure of AP YSR Aarogyasri Scheme
- Go to the official website
- Click on the sign-in button
- The user id and password can be availed by dialing the toll-free number of Seva Kendra that is 104
- Now enter the user id and password
- From the dropdown list select your category
- Now you have to click the registration button
- Now click on Aadhar Card / Aadhar enrollment number
- Click on retrieve details
- Now the application form will be on your screen
- Fill in all the required details and click on the save button
- Now you have to click on add attachment and upload all the required documents

- Now upload the Aadhar Card of your family members and click on the save button
