About Biju Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana
CM Naveen Patnaik has launched this scheme for the meritorious students of Plus Two so that they can come close to the technological phase of India. Being technologically driven is the need of the hour so the Odisha government is providing free laptops to the students so that they can overcome their fear of technical difficulties which they face. Under Biju Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana meritorious students of Odisha state will get a free laptop so that they can carry on their school through online methods and can learn the new features of laptops.
- The main motive of the government behind the scheme is to provide technical assistance to every student and help them in any possible way they can.
- A merit list of 15000 students will be published by the government in July who have scored well in CHSE exams in different streams and also in UP-Shastri exams.
- The I.T. department of the government will deliver the laptop to the principals of the respected nodal colleges.

Eligibility Criteria Of Biju Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana
An applicant must meet the following criteria before applying for the scheme.
- The benefits of the scheme can only be availed by the students of Odisha.
- The students who are the recipients of the upashastri degree are eligible for this scheme.
- The candidate must be a 12th-class student of any Odisha government School.
- This scheme is only available for meritorious students who scored 70% or more in their final examination.
