The government of Jammu and Kashmir has launched the J&K Land for Landless Scheme 2024. Under this scheme 5 Marla land will be provided to the landless citizen so that they can construct their house. On 24 June 2023, the administrative council of Jammu and Kashmir also announced that the third phase of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will be made available to the beneficiaries who have been left out or who do not have their own home. With the implementation of this scheme, a lot of families will be able to afford a house of their own. This scheme will improve the financial condition of the beneficiaries.
