The government of Jammu and Kashmir has launched J&K Land for Landless Scheme 2023-24. Under this scheme 5 Marla land will be provided to the landless citizen so that they can construct their house. On 24 June 2023, the administrative council of Jammu and Kashmir also announced that the third phase of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will be made available to the beneficiaries who have been left out or who do not have their own home. With the implementation of this scheme, a lot of families will be able to afford a house of their own. This scheme will improve the financial condition of the beneficiaries.
- Other than that with the implementation of this scheme, the beneficiaries will also become self-dependent. With the implementation of this scheme, beneficiaries are not required to depend on anyone in order to get the house as the government is going to finance the house.
