Shri Vilasrao Deshmukh Abhay Yojana 2024
The Government of Maharashtra has launched the Shri Vilasrao Deshmukh Abhay Yojana. Through the scheme, those citizens whose electricity connection has been permanently disabled before 31st December will be provided a waiver in the interest and late fees in their outstanding bill. With the implementation of this scheme, the government is going to motivate citizens to pay their electricity bills by waiving 100% interest and late fees. If the beneficiary deposits the complete electricity bill in one go then they will be able to take benefit of this scheme. Other than that High tension connections will also get an additional five percent discount. If beneficiaries are unable to pay the complete amount in one go then they can deposit 30% of the principal balance in one go and the remaining balance and 6 installments
