Vahli Dikri Yojana 2024
This scheme for the girls in which financial assistance of Rs.110000/- will be given to the beneficiaries. The amount will be given in three installments to the beneficiaries directly in their bank accounts. This initiative of the Gujarat government is the same as the initiative of other states like the Haryana Ladli Scheme, Karnataka Bhagyashree Scheme, Rajasthan Raj Shree Yojana, Maharashtra Majhi Kanya Bhagyashree Scheme, Madhya Pradesh Ladli Laxmi Yojana, and West Bengal Kanya Prakalpa Scheme.
Objective of the scheme
The main motive of the government behind launching the વહાલી દીકરી યોજના is to improve the girl childbirth rate. Under this scheme, the government will be strengthening the socio-economic status of girls in society, arrest their dropout rate, and prevent their marriages as children by providing financial assistance.
