About YSR Asara Pathakam
YSR Asara Pathakam Scheme is presented by the Chief Minister of the Andhra Pradesh state YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy as it was promised in the election manifesto under the flagship program of Navaratnalu. Under this prestigious program, the Government will clear the pending dues of DWCRA women with banks till April 11, 2019. The dues will be declared for all of the beneficiaries in 4 installments. The Government has sanctioned a total of Rs27,169 crore for four years. Out of which Rs 6,792.21 crore has been sanctioned on 11 September 2020 to DWCRA women in 2020-21 towards the first installment. This scheme is beneficial for 9,33,180 groups with around 90 lakh members.

Benefits Of YSR Asara Pathakam
There are many benefits willfully provided to the beneficiaries in YSR Asara Pathakam presented by the government of the Andhra Pradesh state. Some of them are listed below:-
- Financial help will be provided to the needy women who are currently living in the Andhra Pradesh state through the implementation of this scheme.
- Women empowerment will be increased due to the implementation of the scheme in the Andhra Pradesh state.
- Loans will be provided to the women who are currently residing in this state and are from the minority community.
- A lower rate of interest will be provided to the loans given to the females in the Andhra Pradesh state.
- The amount will be directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries through YSR Asara Pathakam
- Around 25000 crore rupees have been allocated to implement this scheme in the state.
- Around 9 lakh beneficiaries will benefit from this scheme.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the scheme:-
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh state.
- The candidate must be a member of Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
- The applicant must belong to the SC / ST / BC / Minority community.
- The applicant must have taken a loan before 11 April 2019.
