Aikyashree Scholarship:- To provide financial help to students who are not able to pursue education due to weak financial conditions, the government has created a new scheme known as Aikyashree Scholarship. Under this scheme, education facilities will be provided to students who are currently suffering from poverty. About Aikyashree Scholarship
A new scheme has been created by the West Bengal minority Development and Finance Corporation to provide education facilities for students who belong to the minority community. Under the Aikyashree Scholarship, financial assistance will be provided to the student at the school and college levels. The main aim of launching this scheme is to help the children who are currently suffering from poverty. The students who are currently studying in class from 1st to Ph.D. level will get the Aikyashree Scholarship.
Objective Of Aikyashree Scholarship
There are many minority community students who due to their weak financial condition and not able to pursue their further studies. And this creates a lot of difference between them and society. By keeping this in mind the West Bengal minority development and Finance Corporation has launched Aikyashree Scholarship Scheme. Under this scheme, various types of scholarships will be provided to the student from class 1 to the Ph.D. level. The main objective of this scheme is to provide more socio-economic benefits and educational opportunities among the students of the state to promote talented and deserving students.

The selection procedure for new candidates and candidates applying for a renewal scholarship is given below
- For new scholarship, the Corporation will only consider the student on merit base and subject to the budgetary allocation that is given by the government
- For renewal scholarship, the corporation will only be considered a student who has scored 50% of marks in the previous examination
