National Scholarship Scheme December Update

The government has extended the online application date for the National Scholarship Scheme. The people will be rewarded with this scholarship in the year 2021. As we all know Scholarships will be rewarded to minorities from the state and the center. Bihar education director of the state had issued a letter in this regard copies of the letter have been sent to the head of educational institutions schools colleges universities etc. in the later it is said that they should ensure the application of eligible students for the scholarship on the online portal is a student studying in government and government-funded or private institution can avail the benefit under National scholarship scheme.

New Schedule Under National Scholarship Scheme

The government is giving the benefit to the scheme to encourage students to pursue education. It will be the responsibility of the institution to ensure the application of students on time. In this letter, it has been said that a school student for level 1 point 1 and level 1.4 will now be able to apply for the online portal on December 31, 2020. the last date for verification of the first phase is 31 January 2021 the last date for 2nd phase verification for the scholarship is 28 February 2021 mining applications for National scholarship on pre-matric pass matriculation and metric spaces will have to be made by December 31, 2020

SC/ST Post Matric Scholarship

Through the SC Post Matric Scholarship scheme, financial incentives are provided to the scheduled caste students for studies. There are around 4,200 slots under the SC Post Matric Scholarship scheme. This scholarship scheme is offered to students who are studying beyond the 12th class. The Ministry Of Social Justice and Empowerment is responsible for the evaluation of the scheme.

• Under the SC Post Matric Scholarship Scheme tuition fees, living expenses, books, and stationery expenses, and computer /laptop expenses will be given by the ministry.
• Tuition fees will be refunded directly into the Institution’s bank account by the DBT mode and the payment of other expenses will be made directly into the account of the student by direct benefit transfer method.
• The students are required to submit their application for the SC Post Matric Scholarship scheme through the National scholarship portal.

Benefits Under SC/ST Post Matric Scholarship

The amount of tuition fees that will be refunded is Rs 200000 per annum for those students studying in the private sector and Rs 3.7 lakh per annum for private sector flying club, living expenses will be Rs 3000 per month, books and stationery expenses will be Rs 5000 per annum and for computer/laptop Rs 45000 one time assistance will be provided to students. Under the SC post-matric scholarship scheme 30% of available slots will be reserved for SC girls students. Only two students of single-family can take the benefit of this scheme. First Phase

Process To Fill Institute Registration Form

Phase I

• Go to the Official Website
• The home page will appear in front of you
• On the homepage, click on Institute Login option

• The login form will appear in front of you
• Enter all the details such as Academic Year, User ID, Password and Captcha Code
• After entering the details click on Login option
• A dialogue box will appear in front of you.
• Tick the correct mark and click on Ok option

Phase II

• The Registration Form will appear in front of you.
• Upload the identity proof of Institute Nodal Officer.
• Now enter all the details such as AISHE/DISE/NCVT Code, Institute Name, Intitute Nature, Affiliate Board, Total Student Strength, Institute Address, District, URL Of the Institute Website, Head of Institution Details and Details Of Designated Institute Nodal Officer
• And Now enter the OTP which you have received on your mobile number
• Now click on Save button
• Verify the form before final submitting
• Now click on the Final Submit option.
• After the final submission the reference ID will be sent to the district Nodal Officer
• Take a printout of the form and Submit it to the district Nodal Officer
• The form should be duly signed and stamped

Process To Update Profile Of The Institute

After the successful registration of the institution the new password will be sent to the registered mobile number of the institute Nodal Officer for further purposes. to edit the profile of the institute follow the procedure given below

• Go to the Official Website
• The home page will appear in front of you
• On the homepage, click on Institute Login
• A login page will appear in front of you
• Here enter the details such as Academic Year, Password, User ID, Captcha Code
• After entering the details click on Login option
• The OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
• Enter the OTP and click on Confirm OTP
• A new web page will appear in front of you.
• After resetting the password click on Submit option
• A New web page will appear in front of you
• Here, click on Administration option
• Now select Click On Update Profile
• The OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number
• Enter the OTP and click on Confirm OTP
• Now fill the required details such as Institute Details, Personal Details and Bank Details
• After entering the details click on Final Submit option
• The profile will successfully be updated

Do’s For Filling Application Form

Download NSP Mobile Application

• Go to the National Scholarship Portal
• Now on the top right side of the page Click on “Get it on Google play” option
• Or you can open the Google Play store in your android mobile
• Now go to the search option
• Type national scholarship
• Now click on the install option and the Application will be downloaded and installed on your phone.
