The Chief Minister deposits the benefit money immediately into the beneficiary’s account. The Amma Vodi eKYC is created to try to lower the school dropout rate. Every year, Rs 15000 is placed into the bank accounts of moms who take their children to school under this initiative.
Poverty will not be a barrier to education under this scheme. Under this Amma Vodi eKYC scheme, all recognized Government, Private Aid, and Private Unaided Schools/ Jr. Colleges in the State, including Residential Schools/Colleges for the academic year 2023 will be eligible.

Eligibility Criteria
- The student must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh. And must enroll under class 1 to 12th standard in any state-recognized school.
- The guardian mother of the applicant must be a member of the white card holder.
- The mother of the applicant must be a housewife and should be below the poverty line.
- The child(ren) will not be eligible for the benefit for that academic year if they stop their education in the middle of it.
- Children on the streets and orphans who are attending school through volunteer organizations are eligible.

- Applicants first need to visit the Amma Vodi website of Amma Vodi.
- The homepage will appear on your screen, where you have to click on the eKYC option.
- After that, the eKYC page will open on your screen.
- Here you have to enter the required details and also upload the needed documents.
- After completing all these steps click on the submit button to complete the process.

Payment Methods
Beneficiaries will have their benefits immediately placed into their mother’s or guardian’s bank accounts by the appropriate authorities. Every year in January, the sum will be sent till the candidate has completed intermediate/ 12th/ +2. If the child drops out of school in the middle of the semester, he will not be eligible for financial aid.
