KALIA Yojana is an initiative of Mr. Naveen Patnaik Chief Minister, Government of Odisha to help the farmers of the state. Registration for the KALIA Yojana is a simple process. It has some conditions for the application. Only eligible farmers of Odisha who meet the criteria as decided by the government can apply. About KALIA Yojana Apply Online
KALIA Yojana is known as Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation (KALIA) yojana. The scheme has been launched by the chief minister on 21st December 2018. The main aim of the scheme is to help the farmers to get rid of the debt trap and support them financially. Under this scheme government provides financial assistance for Farmers, cultivators, croppers, and landless agriculture laborers. The beneficiaries will get the benefits through direct benefit transfer mode in their bank accounts.

KALIA Yojana Budget
To help the farmers get rid of this debt trap government has sanctioned Rs.1000/- crores. In 2018 when the scheme was launched the government sanctioned Rs. 5115 crore rupees for the beneficiaries. At that time the government found 43 Lakh people in the state who would benefit from this scheme. The state government has passed a budget of 3195 crore rupees for the year 2020-2021.
Benefits of KALIA Yojana
- 5000/- rupees in each Rabi & Kharib season will be given to 30 lakhs of small & marginal farmer families. (out of which under the KALIA yojana only Rs. 4000/- distributed rest Rs. 6000/- will be distributed by the central government under PM Kisan yojana.)
- Beneficiaries will get the amount in their bank accounts via direct benefit transfer mode
- Beneficiaries will get assistance for taking care of sustenance who are not able to take up cultivation because of old age, disability, disease, or other reasons
- Landless households will get Rs.12500/- livelihood support specially for the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe category household
- 2 lakh rupees each Life insurance cover and additional personal accident cover will also be given to both cultivators and landless agriculture laborers.

Cultivation Assistance
Through this yojana, the farmer will get the assistance of rs. 25000/- for five seasons. The assistance will be given to small and marginal farmers and will be distributed as rs 5000/- per season for the purchases of inputs like seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and use of assistance towards labor and investments.
Livelihood Assistance
Under KALIA yojana landless agricultural households will get the assistance of rs. 12500/- The assistance will be given to every household for agriculture-allied activities like small goat rearing units, mini layer units, duckery units, fishery kits for fisherman mushroom cultivation and beekeeping, etc.
Vulnerable Agricultural Household Assistance
With this yojana, every vulnerable cultivator will get financial help of rs 10000/-. This amount will be given to every cultivator/landless agricultural laborer who is not able to cultivate due to old age, disability/ disease, or other reasons. This amount will help cultivators to take care of their sustenance each year
Life Insurance for Labourers
Farmers will be rewarded with a life insurance cover of rs 2 lakh with a premium of rs 330/- per annum and several rs 165/- per annum will be given by the Government of Odisha. Insurance will be given to all savings account holders aged 18 to 50 years labourers. Laborers will also get Personal Accident cover of Rs. 2 Lakh along with Life Insurance Cover. The premium for accident cover is rs. 12/- for the savings bank account holder of age between 18-50 years out of this amount rs. 6 will be given by the government of Odisha. For the applicant of age above 51 years till 70 years accident cover premium of rs. 12/- will be paid by the government
Free of Interest Crop Loan
Vulnerable Landless Labourers, Cultivators, Sharecroppers, and agricultural families will get a crop loan of Rs. 50,000 at 0% interest rate.
KALIA Yojana Online Application
To apply for the scheme, you must follow the bellow sanctioned procedure: –
- Browse the internet on your computer and open the Official website of KALIA
- Check the beneficiary list available there
- If your name is not on the list, then you must visit the nearest G.P office and PACS
- Get the “Green form” from there and fill it up
- Attach the necessary documents with it as mentioned
- Drop this application form in “DROPBOX” kept at PACS/GP office level.
Points to remember
- Provide accurate detail in the form
- Cross-check the information before submitting of application
- If you are enrolled with KALIA Yojana you need not enroll with PM Kissan Yojana separately.
KALIA Yojana Beneficiary list
- Browse the internet on your computer and open the website of KALIA
- Select the “Beneficiary list” option from the menu bar
- Select your District Name, Block/ ULB, GP
- Click the “View” button and the PDF link appear
- Click on it and enter the authentication code
- Submit it by clicking “submit” to view the list
- To confirm your name check your Kalia ID, Village name, your name, father/ husband name, and gender
Grievance Application Procedure
- Browse the internet on your computer and open the website of KALIA
- From the top right corner select the “online Grievance Application form” option
- Read the instructions very carefully
- Click the proceed option and a pop-up window appear
- Answer the question “Do you want to file a Grievance?” with Yes
- Enter your Aadhar card number and select the Show tab
- Fill out the grievance application form with the details
- Select the “submit” option and a token number will show, note it down for further reference.
Grievance Application Status
- Browse the internet on your computer and open the website of KALIA
- From the top right corner select the “online Grievance Application form” option
- Select the “track your application” option from the top right corner
- Enter the token number and click the show option
- Your application status will show on the screen.
Procedure to Login On the Portal
- First, all of you have to go to the Official Website of KALIA Yojana.
- The homepage will appear in front of you
- On the homepage, you have to click on the option of the Login
- Select your category of login
- A login form will appear on the screen
- Here, you have to fill in the required details such as Username, Password, and Captcha Code
- Now you have to click on the Submit button
Procedure to Upload Documents for Self-Registered Farmers
- First, you have to visit the Official Website of KALIA Yojana
- The homepage will appear On the screen
- On the homepage, you have to click on Upload Documents For Self Registered Farmers (PM KISAN)
- Now you have to enter details like Adhar Number after filling you have to click on Show Button
- You have to upload Documents now
- After uploading the document you have to click on submit option
Refund application:
- Browse the internet on your computer and open the website of KALIA
- From the menu bar select form option
- From the drop-down list select “refund application”
- Download the form, fill it up, and submit to the PACS/GP office
