About Karnataka New State Education Policy

The Government of Karnataka has replaced the national education policy with the Karnataka New State Education policy which was announced on 29th July 2020. This policy has been replaced by thoroughly looking into the different aspects of national education policy due to the lack of infrastructure. The decision to replace this education policy was made during the budget speech of the chief minister. A committee will be formulated in order to prepare the new state education policy within a week. The students who are studying under the national education policy will be allowed to finish their third year of college. There were a lot of reforms that will be added to the state education policy. Various aspects of national education policy will also be considered in the state education policy like the multi-disciplinary approach of education
