Monitoring Of Biju Pakka Ghar Yojana

The ensurity of proper implementation of Biju Pakka Ghar Yojana will depend on the district collector. The BDO will inspect 10% of the house under Biju Pakka Ghar Yojana. the district level officer will inspect 1 % of houses and 10% of houses will be inspected by APD. The inspection will be done with Awaassoft Software. This software will be updated with the timely progress of Biju pakka Ghar Yojana

Timeline of construction under Biju pakka Ghar Yojana

The beneficiaries are required to construct the houses within 12 months with the available first installment under this. And if the beneficiary is constructing a larger house. Then they are required to complete the code house with a carpet area of 25 square meters.

Implementation Of Biju Pakka Ghar Yojana

There are different types of construction costs which are divide into two categories such as Non- IAP, and IAP. The cost of construction under Non-IAP is Rs. 120000 and the cost of IAP is Rs. 13000. The cost under this scheme will pay in four installments by the Government of Odisha. Changes under this cost is revised from time to time by PR and WD

Loan Facility Under Odisha Biju Pakka Ghar Yojana

The beneficiary can avail the benefit of a loan up to the amount Of 70,000 from any of the financial institutions. If the beneficiary chooses institutional Finance then the assistance will be provided by the government. The officer of the financial institution will monitor the construction progress. The meeting is going to hold for this purpose in order to discuss the terms and conditions. After giving the house to the beneficiaries, they will get the loan by fulfilling the terms and condition

Financial Management Under Biju Pakka Ghar Scheme

The financial management will view by the DDO PR & DW. They are responsible for the amount credit into the bank account at the state level. The amount is given into the bank account of the beneficiary by PFMS or E FMS. The interest amount will be recovered from the Biju Pakka Ghar Yojana fund. And it will also be treated as a fund of the scheme.  The DRDA/ Block Level has a separate bank account in the public sector. This account will be responsible for handling government businesses.

Material Procurement Under Biju Pakka Ghar Yojana

Construction materials like cement Steel brakes are required for the construction under Biju Pakka Ghar. The arrangement of this construction material is done by the district administrator. The other people from the beneficiaries of Biju pakka Ghar can purchase the construction material from the supplier. The construction material will be provided by respect and installation or they can purchase the construction material from the supplier of their choice.

  • Pucca house is as follows-
    • foundation, roof, and walls of permanent materials.
    • Wall material made of fly ash bricks, burnt bricks, stones (packed with lime or cement), cement, concrete, timber, etc.
    • Roof made of tiles, GCI sheets, asbestos cement sheets, RBC, RCC, timber, etc.
    • The lifetime of a pucca house should be a minimum of 30 years.
  • Kutcha house is as follows-
    • made of not durable material such as unburnt bricks, stones, grass, reeds, mud, etc.

  • The candidate should be a permanent resident of the State of Odisha

The procedure of installments of Odisha Biju Pakka Ghar Yojana is as follows:-

  • When the order will be issue for the work the first installment of Rs 20000 will be paid
  • Rs 35000 for IAP district and Rs 30000 for non- IAP districts will be paid in the second installment when the construction will reach the initial level
  • Rs 45000 for the IAP district and Rs 40000 for the non-IAP district will be paid for the third installment when the unit is finished up to the roof
  • The last installment of Rs 30000 will be made when the construction process of the house is completed and the beneficiary  starts to live in the house

Selection Procedure Of Biju Pakka Ghar Yojan

  • The District Level Committee will select the beneficiaries
  • The list of beneficiaries is approve by the district level committee and will forward to the district collector.
  • Then, this will given to the BDO
  • If the district level committee did not provide the list within the specified time then the district collector has the power to approve the list available to him
  • After the preparation of the final list, it will publish at the concerned gram Panchayat and block headquarters

  • Village wise list of people having kutcha houses in the district will be prepared by BDO
  • The BDI will then enquire about the list through the field functionaries
