Objective of Parvaaz Scheme JK

The main objective of this Parvaaz Scheme scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students coming from economically backward sections of society. Sometimes the students are not able to get financial assistance so they can apply for this scholarship and get free coaching for the competitive examinations. PARVAAZ IAS/KAS

This scholarship scheme was created by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir to provide financial assistance to the students who are currently pursuing coaching for IAS and other competitive examinations in this state. Students can fill out the application form by visiting the official website. The selection will be based on the score that the students will get in the entrance exam or the qualifying test which will be conducted by this scholarship organization. Students will also have to go through the document verification round after they have submitted the application to be qualified for the examination.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicable age limit shall be the age limit of the competitive exam as of 01.01.2023. In the case of students belonging to a reserved category, the relaxed age limit shall be applicable subject to the submission/ uploading of the required category certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
• The student should have at least one remaining attempt to appear in the competitive exam and shall submit an undertaking in this regard during the online application.
• The applicable qualification criteria shall be the qualification criteria of the Civil Services Examination (IAS/KAS) for which free coaching is offered under the scheme.
• The candidates shall be required to upload a scanned copy (of the original) of the relevant certificate such as Mark sheet(s), Provisional Certificate(s), Transcript of Marks, Result Cards, etc. for completion of the prescribed degree i.e. graduation as proof of having acquired the prescribed educational qualification on or before last date of application submission, failing which the candidature of such candidates shall be canceled. The candidates who can prove, by documentary evidence, that the result of the qualifying examination was declared on or before the last date of submission of the application form and that he/ she has been declared passed, will also be considered to meet the educational qualification.
• In case of candidates claiming possession of equivalent educational qualification (where it is applicable/required), it shall be mandatory to produce a relevant Equivalence Certificate from the concerned competent authorities at the time of Document Verification. However, the final decision regarding the selection of such candidates will be taken by the CEO of Mission Youth, considering relevant rules which shall be binding.
• Only the candidates having total family income from all sources not exceeding ₹8.00 lakh per annum shall be eligible for free coaching under the scheme.
• The candidate must possess an online issued digitally signed Family Income Certificate (original scanned copy to be uploaded) issued by the Competent Authority (Tehsildar) in the format prescribed for the purpose.
• The income certificate must have been issued on or after 01.01.2023. The candidates declared qualified shall be required to upload the income certificate online after the issuance of a list of provisionally eligible candidates.
• Only those candidates who submit the income certificate within the stipulated time shall be considered for admission to the coaching program. No alternate document shall be accepted in place of the Income Certificate and submission/uploading of any such document shall lead to rejection of application.
• The candidate should be a Domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir for consideration under the scheme and must possess a Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the format prescribed for the purpose. He/she shall upload the same at the time of online application submission

PARVAAZ NEET/JEE

The scholarship is presented by the Jammu and Kashmir Government to provide financial assistance to students who have currently passed class 12th. The students will be getting free coaching for the NEET UG examination and the Joint Entrance Examination which is conducted by NTA. Students can easily apply for the scholarship by visiting the official website and they will be able to continue their education regardless. Students who perform well in the scholarship examination will be provided the financial benefits.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicable age limit shall be the age limit of the NEET (UG) & JEE exams. The limit on attempts, if any, shall also be applicable as per the examination.
• The candidate must be 12th Pass.
• The candidates shall be required to upload scanned copies of relevant Certificates such as Mark sheet, Mark Certificate/Transcript, Result Card, etc. for completion of the 12th standard as proof of having passed the 12th standard on or before the last date of application submission under PARVAAZ, failing which the candidature of such candidates shall be canceled. The candidates who shall prove, by documentary evidence, that the result of the 12th was declared on or before the last date of application submission and that he/ she has been declared passed, will also be considered to meet the educational qualification.
• Only the candidates having total family income from all sources not exceeding ₹8.00 lakh per annum shall be eligible for free coaching under the scheme.

Selection Process

• IAS/JKAS: Selection shall only be based on merit in the Entrance Exam (PARVAAZ Qualifying Test PQT) to be conducted for the purpose. A separate notification shall be issued regarding the date and conduct of PQT. The PQT shall be followed by Document Verification (DV) and the final selection list shall be issued after the Document Verification.
• NEET/JEE: Selection shall only be based on merit based on the percentage of marks in the 10th & 12th standards. As per the merit scheme, Document Verification of the qualified candidates shall be carried out and the final selection list shall be issued after the Document Verification.
