PM Kusum Beneficiary List:- Pradhanmantri Kisan raja Suraksha evam than mahabhiyan was created to provide proper opportunities related to solar energy to Indian residents who do not have a proper supply of electricity. The scheme will provide solar capacity and there are three components available in this prestigious scheme to be considered by Indian people so that there is a constant supplier of electrical energy in India without having to worry about less supply. Objective Of The Scheme 2024
The scheme aims to add a solar capacity of 30,800 MW by 2022 with total central financial support of Rs. 34,422 Crore including service charges to the implementing agencies. There are three main components of the scheme as presented by the Indian government. Component A: 10,000 MW of solar capacity through the installation of small Solar Power Plants of individual plants of capacity up to 2 MW. Component B: Installation of 20 lacks standalone Solar Powered Agriculture Pumps. The Component C: Solarisation of 15 Lakh Grid-connected Agriculture Pumps. PM Kusum Beneficiary List has been created to provide proper opportunities to the Indian people till 31st March 2026 and till then the people will be provided a constant supply of solar energy and solar panels will be developed.

Features Of The Scheme
There are a lot of features of the scheme created by the Indian Government and given below we are sharing the list of some features according to the components:
- Solar energy-based power plants (SEPP) of capacity of 500 kW to 2 MW will be set up.
- People will be provided proper opportunities so that they can set up solar energy plants and applications will be invited from registered or interested candidates.
- DISCOM would be eligible to get PBI @ Rs. 0.40 per unit purchased or Rs. 6.6 lakh per MW of capacity installed, whichever is less, for five years from the Commercial Operation Date (COD).
- In another component, the farmers will be supported to install solar agriculture pumps of up to 7.5 HP in off-grid areas, where grid supply is not available.
- The subsidy will be provided to the farmers based on the area in which they are living so that they can easily install the pumps.
- Individual farmers having grid-connected agriculture pumps will be supported by solarise pumps.
Eligibility Criteria
- Component A:
- Individual farmers/groups of farmers/ cooperatives/panchayats/ Farmer Producer Organisations (FPO)/Water User associations (WUA). The land on which the project is proposed to be installed should be within 5 km of the nearest electricity substation.
- Component B:
- Individual farmers, Water User Associations, and community/cluster-based irrigation systems.
- Component C:
- Individual farmers, Water User Associations, and community/cluster-based irrigation systems.

For all states except for North-eastern States, Hill States/UTs and Island UTs, a subsidy of 30%, each by Central and State Governments will be provided, and the remaining 40% will be invested by the farmer for solarization of existing pumps. For North-eastern States, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir/Ladakh and Island UTs, a subsidy of 50% will be provided by the Central Government and at least 30% will be provided by the State Government for solarization of existing pumps. The farmer will have to invest a balance of 20%.
