The chief minister of Assam state has launched the second version of Orunodoi which is a flagship program created by the Assam government in order to provide financial security to financially disabled families. The ceremony was held on wetness day on which the Chief Minister launched the premises of the second version of the scheme. Around 17 lakh women have already received 1250 Rupees each on the 10th date of every month through the DBT method under the prestigious scheme. 10.5 lakh new beneficiaries will be added in the second phase of the scheme and the total beneficiaries of the scheme will be 27 lakh now.
