The name of the new scheme which has been launched by the concerned authority is the Atmanirbhar Assam Scheme for the year 2024. About Aatmanirbhar Assam Scheme
The Aatmanirbhar Assam scheme has been launched to empower financially weak women. This scheme will be very beneficial for 4 lakh families in 1st phase of economically disadvantaged women who are working with full dedication and sincerity. The main aim of this scheme is to create more than 3.72 sustainable individuals and 822 community assets to provide benefit to those who are giving their 100% to improve their financial condition. This scheme would be implemented under MGNREGA to complete the various missions.

Aatmanirbhar Assam Scheme Benefits
The main benefit of the Atmanirbhar Assam Scheme is to provide empowerment to economically disadvantaged women so that they would become more hardworking and CM urged them to show utmost commitment in implementing the Swabhiman Nari Atmanirbhar Assam scheme. It will help women to perform their duties with full concentration and honesty to improve their financial condition and to live their lives stress-free. The other main aim of this scheme is to provide financial help to the best-performing panchayat.
Aatmanirbhar Asam Scheme Assets Creation
We have already told you above the main aim of this scheme is to create assets to provide financial help to economically disadvantaged women. With individual asset creation, 5 identified activities would be implemented across the development block, and with community asset creation 20 activities would be implemented in the selected development block. As well as monitoring committees from Panchayat up to the state level would be constituted for the effective implementation of this scheme.
Aatmanirbhar Assam Scheme Includes
As explained above the Swanirbhar Nari- Aatmanirbhar Assam scheme would be implemented under MGNREGA with coordination of various state departments and missions such as Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission, Agriculture and Horticulture, Fishery, Environment and Forest, Handloom and Textiles, Sericulture, Veterinary, and Animal Husbandry, etc for the betterment of the economically disadvantaged women

Need For Atmanirbhar Assam Schemes
The Aatmanirbhar Asam scheme has been launched to give empowerment to economically disadvantaged women so that they would be able to improve their confidence while working under this scheme to improve their financial condition. This scheme will help them financially and economically. Many women under this scheme will be able to shape their future like the other many women personalities like Sati Joymati, Sari Sadhana, Kanaklata Baruah, Magri Orang, and Indira Miri.
Implementation Of Atmanirbhar Assam Schemes
The task of the PRI executives is personally emphasized by the CM to ensure the implementation of the Swanirbhar Nari – Atamnirbhar Assam Scheme. The chief minister urges all the PRI executives to expand full cooperation with SHG Beneficiaries of women. CM further explained the importance of honesty, dedication, and sincerity in the performance of representatives. In the implementation process, relentless action will be taken by the Assam government, if the panchayat is found to indulge in corruption Or inconsistency in the work. On the other hand, the Chief Minister also announces the awards to the panchayat for best performance.
The reward for the winning panchayat will be 3 lacs, while the runner-up will be 2 lacs and for the third position will be 1 lac. This initiative will boost the empowerment of women in our state as said by the CM. The chief minister also requested that all the responsible authorities act cooperatively towards rural development departments and panchayats. The government is taking action throughout the state to monitor uniform development. The ideal actions have been taken in the defense of the rights of native people to issue them land pattas which counts up to 1lakh landless families.
