Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the Gujarat right to education act:-
- The applicant must have completed 5 years of age on or before 1st June 2022 to apply for this admission.
- The income of the general caste household should be 68000 per annum or below.
- The income of scheduled Caste and scheduled tribe households should not be more than Rupees 2 lac per annum.
- The income of an OBC household should not be more than Rupees one lakh per annum.

Important Instruction
The applicant must follow the following instructions in order to successfully apply for the right to education:-
- The students who are only children or only daughters in the family will be given the first priority. The students who belong to the economically backward section of society will be given priority.
- The applications will be selected based on the income of the household and the people with the lowest income will be given the opportunity.
- The applicant must fill out the application form by checking out the income eligibility criteria presented by the Gujarat government to sort out the admissions.
- The last decision to approve the admissions belongs to the concerned authorities of the RTE admission act and they will decide whether the application is approved or rejected based on the income and other information related to the economic condition of the students.
- The schools have reserved upto 25% of seats for the people who are applying for the RTE quota.

You can fill out a new application form if you have found any error in the previous application form.
The income limit will be applicable as of 24/10/2017. In rural areas Rs. 1,20,000/- and in urban areas, an income limit of 1,50,000/- will be applicable. Children from the lowest income families will be given priority in admission.
Students who have studied in a Government Anganwadi for at least 2 years and whose names are registered on the ICDS-CAS web portal means that the students who have studied in that Anganwadi must submit an attested copy of the Anganwadi Worker of the concerned Anganwadi or the competent authority as determined from time to time by the Govt.
A child applying for admission to Class-I under RTE who has not completed the 6th year of age on the date of admission will not normally be admitted to a primary school. However, if a child seeks admission after completing five years of age, he/she will be admitted, but he/she should have completed five years of age on the 1st day of June of that year.
