To strengthen the health infrastructure in the state the Government of Tamil Nadu has launched Tamil Nadu Amma Mini Clinic Scheme on 14 December 2020. Under this scheme, around 2000 mini-clinics will set up in the state to provide various health facilities to the people. About TN Amma Clinic Scheme 

The chief minister Mr. Edappadi K Palanisamy launched the Mini clinic scheme on Monday to provide health facilities across the state. Around 2,000 Mini clinics will settle to provide each and every facility to check the people. Along with that, each clinic will contain a doctor nurse, and medical staff following with equipment facilities to check the temperature oxygen level blood sugar hemoglobin level blood sugar level. These facilities are available near the areas where the poor reside. The main aim of the Tamil Nadu Amma Clinic Scheme is to help ordinary people so that those who are not able to visit Private hospitals or clinics for consultation will be able to take better treatment for their health.

Tamil Nadu Covid Relief Fund

Governor Banwarilal Purohit on Tuesday 2nd February 2021 announced that the state government of Tamilnadu has spent Rs. 13,208 crore for Covid Relief. He also said that unlike other states Tamil Nadu did not stop any salary of its employees but they saved their people from the further adverse impact of the pandemic. Along with that they also set up a 2000 Amma Mini Clinic to provide free primary Health Care in remote areas. Inauguration Of Amma Mini Clinic In  Madikonpalayam

The higher education minister KP Anbalagan has inaugurated 2 Amma Mini Clinics in Madikonpalayam and Indalamangalam villages on Saturday 9th January 2021. The main aim of launching mini-clinics is to improve health services near villages. Along with that basic diagnosis, medical consultation and treatment will also be provided to the people. The minister announced that 21 Students from Dharmapuri and around 325 Students from the state will get admitted into medical colleges.

Argument Of AIADMK, DMK MLA Over Amma Mini Clinics

Anxious moments have been created at the inauguration of the Amma Clinic at Anjugraman on 30th December 2020. There was a war of words between DMK MLA and AIADMK for taking over credit for launching this scheme. The war of words begins with Kanyakumari MLA S Austin (DMK) with the claim that the mini-clinic scheme has been started by DMK. MLA has been questioned by the AIADMK district secretary for attending the event. The situation has been brought under control by Thalavai Sundaram. Thalavai Sundaram controlled the situation while Austin remained on the stage during the whole event.

Inauguration of Amma Mini Clinic in Coimbatore

The minister of municipal administration rural development and implementation of special program SP Velumani has established Amma Mini Clinic in Perur Chettipalayam Panchayat, Alandurai Panchayat, and Ikkaraipoluvampatti Panchayat of Coimbatore district. Along with that he also distributed maternally and Child Health nutrition boxes of Rs. 2000 to around 43 pregnant women. This is the first time that Mini clinics are set up in urban and rural areas of the district. Medicines related to diabetes high blood pressure fever cold are also available at the Mini clinics present in district Coimbatore.

Objective Of Tamil Nadu Amma Clinic Scheme

As we all know there are many areas where poor people live in large numbers and if they get affected by any disease, are not able to visit private hospitals or clinics for consultation on their ailments. By keeping this in mind the chief minister of Tamil Nadu has launched Amma Clinic Scheme. Under this scheme, the government will construct 2000 clinics all over the state to provide access to the doctors for consultation. Along with that, the equipment facilities will also be provided to check the temperature, blood pressure, hemoglobin level, and blood sugar levels following hemoglobin and urine tests.

Implementation Of Tamil Nadu Amma Clinic Scheme

Under the Tamil Nadu Amma clinic scheme around 2000 clinics will be set up across the state to provide quick access to medical doctors for consultation or common ailments like fever, cold, etc. By implementing this scheme the clinics will be inaugurated at three different locations in the cities so that ordinary people will not get burnt by having to sell out a few hundred while visiting private hospitals or clinics for consultation. The functioning of the clinic will be done for four hours in the morning and for the same duration in the evening also.

Tamil Nadu Amma Mini Clinic Phase 1

In the first phase of Tamil Nadu Amma Mini Clinic, this CM of Tamil Nadu has launched the Mini clinics in three states of Chennai which are Royapuram, Vyasarpadi, and Mylapore. Indian states. These clinics will be set up at 200 places and around 2000 mini-clinics will be built across the entire state. Still, we have not heard about Phase II of the Tamil Nadu Amma Mini Clinic. As soon as the government provides any information related to Phase II of this scheme we will update you soon.
