The final electoral roll for the upcoming assembly election in the state of Tamil Nadu has been published by the Election Commission of India. There were around 6.26 crore voters in the line out of which 3.18 crore were female voters, 3.08 crore were male voters and 7200 were transgender voters. The electoral roll of the special summary was published by the Election Commission of India on 1st January 2021.
- The Shozhinganallur Assembly Constituency in Chengalpattu District has the highest number of voters counted at 6,94,845 on the other hand the Harbour Assembly Constituency in Chennai has the fewest electors counted as 1,76,273.
- The total number of electors 8,97,694 belonging to the age group of 18 to 19 years were listed in the electoral roll.
