What is Medhashree Scholarship 2024
She announced the Medhashree Scholarship program, under which students from underprivileged and minority groups will be eligible for a grant of Rs 800, and said that her government would do its part to safeguard their interests. In her program on Thursday, she said “Distributing all the services at once is not feasible. But I can promise everyone that we will present the checks to more than 50,000 recipients today. Every service provided under the “Duare Sarkar“ scheme must be provided within the next seven days,” “The beneficiaries in each of the three districts of North Bengal must receive our services by January 27. I’ve told the district magistrates to make this happen,” she continued. The objective of West Bengal Medhashree Scholarship 2024
The main initiative behind the inauguration of the Medhashree Scholarship is to financially help the citizens of West Bengal who never benefitted from any kind of governmental scheme. The West Bengal government is going to help students from underprivileged and minority populations by providing a yearly stipend of Rs 800. This scholarship is benefiting 2.63 lakh children annually. The West Bengal government has also implemented a 17% OBC reservation. This scholarship will help students in motivating for higher education or to fulfill their day-to-day requirements.
Benefits of West Bengal Medhashree Scholarship 2024
Medhashree Scholarship was introduced by the CM of West Bengal Mamta Banerjee for students from underprivileged and minority communities for an annual stipend of Rs 800. This program will benefit 2.63 lakh students annually. For OBCs, the government has introduced a 17% reservation. According to Banerjee, the Aikyashree program has awarded scholarships to over 3.83 crore students throughout the state, and over 40,000 recipients have also gotten student credit cards.

- On this page, you have to click on the Student’s Registered Login button.
- On the Login page, you have to fill in your User Name, Password, Academic Session, District, and Captcha code.
- After that, you need to click on the Login button.
Steps to Track Application Status
- Applicants first need to visit the Official Website of West Bengal Minorities & Finance Corporation.
- The homepage will appear on your screen.
- On the homepage, you have to click on the Track Application Status option.
- Now select your district, then the application status [age will appear on your screen.
- Here you have to enter your Year of Registration, District, Application User ID,
- DOB and Captcha Code.
- After filling in these details click on the Submit button.
