Telangana Gruha Lakshmi Scheme:- Through our portal, we always make you aware of multiple schemes, yojanas or scholarship programs launched by different state governments. In that list, a new scheme is attached. This scheme was introduced by the CM of Telangana Mr Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday. The scheme is named Gruha Lakshmi Scheme Telangana 2024. The name of the scheme itself hints about its motive it as the word Gruha Lakshmi in India is defined as the head woman of the house who serves as the goddess of family. So, under Gruhalakshmi Application Telangana, the government will distribute an amount of financial help to the women of families to build their homes. This Gruhalakshmi Telangana will provide benefits to Dalit families who are unable to build their own homes due to financial crises. The benefit will be distributed in 3 installments.

The government has approved 7940 Houses

Fulfilling its promise on 7th August 2023, The Telangana government has allocated 7940 houses under the Telangana Gruhalakshmi Scheme. This quota is allocated to the Bhupalpally and Mulugu districts. if you are an eligible citizen of Telangana state then you may easily take the benefit under Telangana Gruha Laxmi Scheme. With this latest announcement, the government has approved the construction of 4,150 houses in the Bhupalpally district, and the remaining 3,790 houses will be built-in Mulugu district.

About Telangana Gruha Lakshmi Scheme 2024

The government of Telangana launched a new scheme for the Dalit women of the state to offer them financial help of Rs. 3 lakh to build their homes. This financial help will be transferred into your bank account via Direct Bank Transfer. Under the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme Telangana, Rs 12,000 crores will be used to build 4 lakh homes in the state of Telangana and Rs 4,12 crore has been approved for the construction of 1,000,000 homes in the state of Telangana. Each beneficiary will receive a one-time payment from Gruha Lakshmi to build a home that meets their needs.

• In all constituencies, over 119,3 dwellings have been approved, and an additional 43,000 homes have been approved under the state quota.
• In the assembly constituency of Huzurabad, the program will be tested out. Based on the success of the scheme’s implementation in Huzurabad, the state-wide implementation will be done in stages. 

Telangana Gruha Lakshmi Scheme Start Date

As you all are aware the government of Telangana has launched the Gruha Lakshmi scheme. Through this scheme, women of the state will be provided financial assistance for the construction of these houses. The government is going to provide a one-time grant of Rs 3 lakh under the scheme. The government has launched this scheme on 9th June 2024. Since the launching of this scheme, applications have been accepted by the government. The last date to apply under the scheme is 10th August 2024. Beneficiaries are requested to apply before the last date to get the benefit of this scheme

Objective of Gruha Lakshmi Scheme Telangana

Gruha Lakshmi Scheme Telangana aims to offer financial help to the women of Dalit society so that they use that amount to build their own homes with all the essential elements. The women will receive 3 lakh rupees, which is a one-time benefit, that is directly transferred into their bank account. Under the “Gruha Lakshmi” scheme, Rs 12,000 crore will be used to build 4 lakh homes in the state of Telangana, and Rs 4,12 crore approved for the construction of 1,000,000 homes in the state of Telangana. 

Eligibility Criteria

To avail of the benefits of the scheme the applicant must fulfil the following criteria:

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Telangana.
• The women of the family will avail the benefit of the scheme.
• Applicants must belong to the Dalit Bandhu scheme.

• The Gruha Lakshmi Scheme is launched to offer financial help to the women of Telangana who belong to Dalit families.
• Under the scheme, the government will give them a one-time grant of Rs. 3 lakh to build their own home with all the necessary elements.
• The state government already announced a budget of Rs. 12 crores for the implementation of 4 lakh houses. 
• A total of 43,000 more homes under the State quota, as well as the construction of approximately 3,000 homes in each of the 119 seats, are approved.
• Under the program, only women recipients would be permitted to purchase homes, and each will receive Rs 1 lakh deposited into their bank account throughout three installments.
• The land distribution and the current double-bedroom dwellings would take place separately.

Steps for Registration under Scheme 2024

Selection Process Under Gruha Lakshmi Scheme Telangana 2024

• First of all, beneficiaries are required to Submit an application to the tehsildar on a white paper along with all the required documents
• This application should be submitted before 10th August 2023
• After that a verification will be done by the tehsildar
• This verification will be completed before 20th August 2023
• After successful Verification, the government will start to disburse the benefit amount into the bank account of the beneficiary from 25th August 2023
