The name of the scheme is Dinkar Yojana or day time electricity Yojana, which has now changed to Gujarat Kisan Sarvoday Yojana. About Gujarat Kisan sarvoday Yojana
Our respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially launch the first phase of the Sarvoday scheme on 24 October 2020. The main aim is to provide daytime electricity to all the farmers of the state. In the first phase of the Gujarat Kisan Sarvoday scheme around 1055 villages such as Gir Somnath, Dahod and Junagadh will be included under the daytime electricity scheme and a total number of 17.25 lakh beneficiaries will be rewarded with this scheme. Gujarat Kisan Sarvoday Yojana is very useful for farmer because they are more likely to suffer from snakes and bugs in their lands.
Second Phase Of Gujarat Kisan Sarvoday Yojana
The chief minister of Gujarat Vijay rupani has started the second phase of Kisan Sarvoday Yojana. Under the first phase of this scheme around 1 lakh farmers have been covered. While 190000 farmers will be covered under the second phase of the Kisan Sarvoday Yojana. Around 3.80 lakh new electricity connections will be provided to the farmers of the state for irrigation in their fields. the electricity connection which will be provided to the farmers will cost Rs. 1.60 lahks and this connection will be provided to the farmer for Rs. 10
Gujarat Kisan Sarvoday Yojana Update
The government has set a target of doubling the income of farmers by 2022. by keeping this in mind the Kisan Sarvoday Yojana has been launched by the government of Gujarat. Under the scheme, electricity will be provided to the farmers of the states so that they would not face any problem in doing their agricultural work.
- The Kisan Sarvoday Yojana is a big and historic scheme after Jyoti gram Yojana. Around 11.50 lakhs of electricity connections will be provided to the farmers in the state.
- He also informed that now farmers of 600 villages of Gujarat will provide electricity during the day with the help of this the target of doubling the income of farmers will be achieved.

Budget of Gujarat Kisan Sarvoday Yojana
The total number of the budget which has been decided by the government of Gujarat state for Gujarat Kisan Sarvoday Yojana will be around 35000 crores. With this budget, the government has planned to provide electricity to all the farmers for their agriculture purpose. The government has decided to cover various farmers of the state by the year 2022. The target of the scheme is to cover 17.25 lack of farmers from the Gujarat state. Implementation of Gujarat Kisan Sarvoday Yojana
Gujarat Kisan Sarvoday Yojana will be divided into three phases of power connection for 8 hours during 24. And this group will be distributed in such a manner that some will get a power supply for 8 hours in the daytime, some will get a power supply for 8 hours at night and the others get power supply partially in the day and partially at night. This cycle will rotate every week. This results in the availability of power for each and every group.
Reasons of Not Getting Electricity
The main reason for not getting electricity during nighttime is the availability of power during the daytime and the infrastructure to distribute power. When the power is distributed during night time there will be a lack of power which leads to the unavailability of electricity during the daytime. Renewable energy sources like solar energy and wind energy will be needed to recharge the power infrastructure.
