Eligibility Criteria and Required Documents

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Tamil Nadu
• Applicant Aadhaar Card
• Income certificate
• Residential proof
• Old ration card
• A legal undertaking proving the user does not fall under the priority domestic category.
• Caste certificate

Ineligibility Of NPHH Ration Card

• If the home has two or more motor boats, a trawler, a large truck, four-wheelers, or a motorized vehicle
• Houses with manufacturing and service businesses that are registered with the government
• That household with residential electric connections that have loads of 2 kilowatts or more
• Houses have a regular employee who works for the state or central government
• Those households whose one member is earning more than Rs 10000 per month and rural areas and Rs 15000 per month in urban areas
• Home having a pucca roof and at least three rooms and closed by pucca walls
• Households of income taxpayers
