About STARS Scheme
STARS scheme has been approved by the central government so that they can strengthen the education system of India because the new education policy has been implemented recently by the Prime Minister. The scheme has been approved under the national education policy for the year 2020. As we all know that a new Education policy was launched by the Prime Minister recently and all of the school systems have widely changed. This new scheme will help in starting a project to improve the teaching-learning process easier in the government school and all of the private schools of the country. This project will be highly beneficial for all of the students because many different types of technological advancement will be provided to the implementation of this project under the national education policy for the year 2020.
Objectives Of STARS Scheme
The main objective which will be fulfilled through the implementation of the STARS scheme will be the strengthening of the teaching-learning process of the country. Technological advancement will also be provided to all of the students who are getting it very difficult to do online study because of the coronavirus pandemic. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided to launch STARS Project with a total project cost of Rs 5718 crore. The World Bank will also provide support amounting to approx. Rs. 3700 crore. These financial figures will make the STARS project a really big project for all of the students who are studying in India. Also, this scheme will be a centrally sponsored scheme and all of the implementations will be in the hands of the education ministry of India.

Implementation Procedure Of The Scheme
The scheme is a centrally sponsored scheme and is launched under the concept of the national education policy for the year 2020. New Education Policy was launched by the Prime Minister recently and all of the procedures of the schools and colleges were slightly changed because of the new updates in the education policy. The procedures related to the scheme will be under the education ministry of India. The ministry will also set up a National Assessment Centre, PAREKH as an independent and autonomous institution. The scheme also includes a Contingency Emergency Response Component (CERC). The CERC will be responsible for the losses schools faced due to the coronavirus pandemic, infrastructure damage, inadequate facilities, and the distance learning technological advancement.

- Himachal Pradesh
- Rajasthan
- Maharashtra
- Madhya Pradesh
- Kerala
- Odisha
- A similar ADB funded project will be provided in Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, and Assam.
Benefit Of STARS Scheme
The STARS project will be mainly giving support for all of the states of India so that they can develop foolproof procedures through which the national education policy of the year 2020 will be implemented without any problem and further adieu. The states will be given help so that they can develop, implement, and evaluate different types of procedures with the support of each other. The project will definitely help the country to improve their educational outcomes and the infrastructure of the different schools.
The project will also help with the labor market and will develop the human resource of the country. Early childhood education and foundational learning will be improved through the project. Learning assessment systems will also be improved. Classroom instructions will be made better and the remediation will be done through the development of teacher and student leadership. Vocational education will be given more power. There will be quality based learning outcomes.
