Objectives Of The Scheme
The main objective which will be fulfilled through the implementation of the STARS scheme will be the strengthening of the teaching-learning process of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided to launch STARS Project with a total project cost of Rs 5718 crore. The World Bank will also provide support amounting to approx. Rs. 3700 crore. Also, this scheme will be a centrally sponsored scheme and all of the implementations will be in the hands of the education ministry of India.
Implementation Procedure Of The Scheme
The scheme is a centrally sponsored scheme and is launched under the concept of the national education policy for the year 2020. New Education Policy was launched by the Prime Minister recently and all of the procedures of the schools and colleges were slightly changed because of the new updates in the education policy.
