HIDCO Flat Lottery:- A normal middle-case working man spent almost all his life collecting a stable amount of money to build or buy his own house. A place where he spent the rest of his life happily with his family. As time passes the economic value of money is rapidly increasing and buying a house is no less than winning a war. The government of West Bengal came up with a new plan called HIDCO Flat Lottery 2024. Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (WBHIDCO) to offer already built flats at very reasonable prices. The flats will be distributed based on the Lottery system. As we all know that the population is growing dramatically and every individual wants their own house, but under this HIDCO Flat system only 80 flats are available so the lottery system is adopted. 

About HIDCO Flat Lottery 2024

The West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (WBHIDCO) plan is implemented by the Government of West Bengal. The whole area will cover 6,000–7,000 hectares of Rajarhat, Kolkata, West Bengal, is the focus of the development initiatives planned. To establish a comprehensive computerized database of Rajarhat, WBHIDCO has chosen to implement the geographic information system (GIS). This will assist in integrating the databases for property taxes, public utilities, and the number of homeowners and their residences. This will benefit New Town’s planning services. The flats will have all the necessary amenities, including electricity, water, transportation, and road infrastructure. This is a very good step taken by the WB Government for the citizens who belong to the economically weaker section of our society and can’t buy an expensive house.

The objective of HIDCO Flat Lottery

The objective behind the implementation of HIDCO is to offer flats to the economically weaker families of the state who can’t afford the expensive flats. This scheme will help multiple families to buy their own houses to fulfill their dreams. Because a house is a place where you live the way you want, without any judgement or with full of safety. The Government of WB will give 80 flats through this scheme with all the facilities a flat contains. 

Benefits of HIDCO Flat Lottery

The following advantage will be given to the candidates who will be applying for the scheme:

• The applicant will be receiving the flats at a very cheap price for the citizens of west Bengal.
• The flats will contain all the facilities like- electricity, water, transportation, and road infrastructure.
• Lotteries will be used to distribute plots on a 99-year leasehold basis.
• The flats are situated 10 kilometers from Kolkata’s CBD, adjacent to Salt Lake City, and only a short distance from the city’s international airport.

• The application form submission will be started from 1st March 2023
• The deadline for registration will be on the 30th of April 2023

• Passport size Photos
• Mobile phone number 
• Aadhaar card 
• Self-attested copy 
• Residence proof such as a PAN card, ration card or BPL card
• Recent pay stubs as evidence of income
• Family income statement per month
• Bank statement
• A copy of your most recent tax return

Eligibility Criteria 

The following requirements must be met by candidates to be eligible for the HIDCO lottery program:

• The candidate must be an Indian national and a resident of West Bengal to apply for the scheme.
• The age of the applicant must be above 18 years.
• While applying the HIDCO lottery scheme, a person should not have any property in their name or any family member’s name.
• A candidate who qualifies as economically disadvantaged must earn at least Rs 25,000 per month.
• The applicant must provide official government-issued documentation to apply for apartments through HIDCO.

Process of Registration for Lottery 2024

The user must carry out the actions listed below to register for the HIDCO Lottery:

• First, you have to visit WBHIDCO’s official website.

• The website’s home page will appear on the screen.
• On the screen, you have to visit the link for the HIDCO lottery program.
• On the screen, the registration form will appear.
• Now, complete the form with all the necessary information, such as your name, email address, mobile number, etc.
• After that choose Register from the menu.

• Your registered email address will receive the login information following successful registration.
• Log in to our registered account right away.
• Your account’s dashboard will appear on the screen.
• Then select the Application form link.
• On the screen, the application form will appear.
• Now, complete the form with all the necessary information.
• Next, upload all necessary paperwork.
• Continue and submit the registration cost.
• To finish the application form, click the submit button.
